Pangong Lake
Everyone must have seen the movie Three Idiots. In the last scene of the film, when Kareena Kapoor visits Aamir Khan and confesses her love, the picturesque, mesmerizing region is Pangong Lake.
Pangong Lake Lake is located in Ladakh at an altitude of 4250 meters. Pangong Lake Lake is also famous as the largest salt water lake in Asia. The lake is 134 km long and has a maximum width of 5 km.
Pangong Lake Lake is also known as Hollow Lake. The sunrays in its salty water emit various colors. One-third of the lake is in India and two-thirds is in Tibet.
We are mesmerized by seeing this lake with still and heavenly water. As this section is under the influence of the army, permission is required to visit here. Indian citizens do not need permission to visit here.
This lake freezes in winter. A festival is celebrated here at that time. Skiers and skaters from all over the world participate in the festival. One can reach here by traveling from Chang La, the third highest road in the world. May to September is the best time for tourism.
